Helping One Guy

Helping One Guy Helping One Guy is a ministry that helps one guy (and his family) at a time, who is going though a life-changing crisis.

We host a dinner every-other month to love on that month's one guy. Helping One Guy (HOG) Marietta, GA Chapter

5 ways to be the hands and feet to someone who really needs it. ⬇️

1. Send the text you keep thinking about sending. “Just checking in on you today" can go a long way.

2. Drop off a meal without making someone host you, too. Leave it on the front porch, shoot them a text that's waiting, and let them enjoy it.

3. Offer specific help. “Can I pick up groceries or take care of dinner this week?” Make it easy for them.

4. Keep checking in after the initial crisis passes. Most people forget. Be the one who remembers.

5. Sit with someone without feeling the need to fix everything. Presence is more important than perfect words.

HOG Patrons are the lifeblood of our organization. 🙌

If you didn't know, our Patrons give a monthly donation of their choosing that goes directly to support the operations and infrastructure of our organization.

This includes logistics, marketing, venue, food, and much more that are all necessary to put our monthly dinners on.

Our Patrons are the lifeblood of our organization, and we truly could not help the amazing honorees we do without them.

If you'd like to get more information or are ready to join, reach out to us at [email protected] today.

We sometimes forget to notice the small, beautiful things, but those are the ones we should be most grateful for.

Save this as a reminder to stop and look for the good wherever you can today. 🌿

What a privilege to get to visit our friend and recent HOG honoree, Slade Bailey, and present the check that was funded by your generosity at last month's dinner.

Your donations will go directly to the care that Slade needs as he fights his battle with brain cancer.

Thank you again for making this possible. 🤍
