🚨URGENT🚨URGENT🚨
We only have until the end of this month to find a proper placement for sweet Luna.

Luna came to us back in December '25 in horrible condition. She's finally looking and feeling better, now she needs a home of her own. We're open to a rescue transfer as well.

Luna is very sweet, good with other dogs and has been gentle with a couple of cats she's met. She's good with kids as well.

Luna does take Prozac for anxiety, long term in a stable home she may be able to taper off of it but we haven't been able to assess that. She would do best with another friendly dog to play with as her anxiety seems to be tied to being alone. She's not destructive, just vocal.

We think she likely has allergies so she gets allergy shots. Now that her skin is better, finally, we aren't sure if those will continue to be needed but consider that they will when considering her.

The auction has been delayed due to some medical things I have going on. I hope to get it up next week after a procedure I have tomorrow.

Dante (black pittie mix) and Luna (tan shepherd type mix) are here to say hi and ask if you might consider making one of them a new family member.

We have a lot going on and a lot to talk about. Right now, I'm working diligently on the auction. My plan is to have it up by Monday and to let it run for 7-14 days. Let me know your thoughts on how many days. This will not be on Facebook, it will be on our Zeffy page. Zeffy doesn't charge us any fees for us to us and that's important. We've been using it for about a year without issue.

Again, we want to thank everyone who has helped with our continued fundraising efforts! We're getting closer everyday!

Gabby, below, is in need of an approved adopter or a rescue transfer. She's 4-5 years old, well behaved, calm, is a super kisser and cuddler and is good with people and other dogs. No cats. She will also dig under a fence if left unattended. We have a limited time to find her a place.

*State of Dog Days Rescue II*

To everyone who donated when we posted the vet for help, you can't possibly know how appreciative we are.

We have been able to get caught up on some things. Dog food (including specialized diets), regular daily supplements, treats, grooming and some replacement beds that were needed.

Both the dogs and humans are so grateful!

We still have a sizable vet bill, that continues to grow, that will be our focus.

We are considering an auction or 2. We have some very nice handbags we could raffle, we've considered a 50/50 raffle and some other physical items. Please let us know if these are things you'd be interested in.

Will finishing his doggy ice cream after a long day of lounging! He's doing well and his skin is nearly 100% closed finally!

State of Dog Days Rescue - we are STRUGGLING!

Donations are extremely low. Our personal funds are depleted, and we are struggling to cover even basic needs like **dog food**. Meanwhile, veterinary costs continue to climb, and foster homes are becoming increasingly difficult to find.

We **do not want to stop saving dogs**, but we are reaching a point where we may have no choice without our community's help. You've helped us save so many sick and injured dogs throughout the years. Congratulations to Haley and her new dad! After taking care of her babies and watching them all get perfect homes she waited patiently for her turn. It took awhile but we only want the best fits for our babies!

What a great Saturday it was. Bittersweet but new daddy has been so understanding and kept us updated on her first days and nights. We couldn't be more grateful and happy!

Love you lots baby girl, we'll keep in touch!

Dante is still dreaming of a family of his own. He's a very sweet, playful boy. Despite his sad puppy dog eyes he's quite a happy boy. He's great with other dogs, especially playful dogs. Cats unknown.

Young, happy, healthy, playful, friendly and plays well with others. What more could you want?!

Have a safe and happy 4th of July! Remember to keep your dogs inside during fireworks and of they have to go out use a leash.

Please check on any wildlife in your yard or area after fireworks to see if any need attention.
