The Easter Bunny returns for his 14th year to have breakfast with the families of Legacy Park! Legacy Park’s Own Active Adults 55+ club will be cooking up delicious pancakes and sausage! Coffee and milk will also be served! There will be lots of fun for the children in the craft area brought to us by Sunbrook Academy at Legacy Park!

Be sure to bring your own camera and capture your little one’s visit with the Easter bunny.
Make your reservations now by turning in the form along with your payment to the HOA office. Seating is a limited for this event!

Upcoming Tree Work
Legacy Park Circle
&
Boulevard
Treequote.com is starting to work on raising the canopy on the trees along the outside of Legacy Park Circle and Legacy Park Boulevard. This is a budgeted item approved by the Board with the 2019 budget.

There will be some trees that need to be removed and those have been marked. We are working with the City of Kennesaw on obtaining proper permits and approval by the arborist. We will try to have minimal impact on neighboring homes and will be contacting any homeowners that may be impacted by this project.

We will also be grinding stumps around the Circle and cleaning up low growing brush and tree debris within the easement area. Owners that have dumped their yard debris in these areas will be receiving letters regarding the same.

This work will start on Saturday, March 2nd at the main entrance and will proceed around the circle towards the Clubhouse. Please use caution if you are around one of the work areas. Treequote.com is very careful and may need to hold up traffic momentarily if needed.........SAFETY FIRST!

We appreciate your patience as we strive to keep the amenities both beautiful and safe for our residents to enjoy. If you see anything of concern, please contact the Property Manager.

2019 Annual Membership Meeting
Tuesday, February 26 at 7:00 pm

The association’s annual meeting is the best opportunity for you to learn about this year’s events and get caught up on everything happening in our community. Here are a few agenda items and meeting activities you won’t want to miss:

• The winners of the Board of Directors election will be announced.
• Meet Legacy Park Board Members, Committee members, HOA staff and our City of
Kennesaw officials.
• Get an update on all current and future scheduled projects.
• Hear how your assessments are being used and reserves are being invested.

The HOA will also be sponsoring a give-away opportunity for those attending the meeting. If you are a member in good standing, your name will be entered in a drawing to have your 2019 assessments refunded. Yes, by attending the meeting & staying until the end, ONE lucky Legacy Park HOA member will get a check for $650.00!!! Click here for the Agenda!

Upcoming Tree Work
Winterthur & Trails
The City of Kennesaw will be removing trees in the right-of-way in Winterthur. These trees are being removed to facilitate sidewalk maintenance. In addition to repairing the sidewalk where the trees the City will be repairing other locations that do not require tree removal at this time.

The repairs will either consist of removing and replacing sections of the sidewalk or minor grinding of the joints to remove trip hazards. The work will begin this week and be completed within 2 to 3 weeks depending on weather. Pink surveyor tape has been tied around the trees to be removed.

Treequote.com will be working on the trails this week to remove some dead trees and limbs that hang over the trails. Two dead trees along the Disc Golf Course close to hole 11 will be removed as well. Please use caution if you are on the trails this week in one of the work areas.

Legacy Park's New Website
The Legacy Park website has a new look and new features!
 Head over to www.legacypark.org and check it out!

While you're there, please take a minute to register your account, since the old login credentials no longer work. Once approved, this will give you access to pay assessments, register for sports, and view minutes from board meetings.

A new feature is the Knowledge Base where all of our documents are stored in one convenient location and are searchable. We're excited about the new look and potential for our website. Our goal was to create a fun, visually striking, user friendly experience for everyone that uses it. We hope you'll enjoy using it as much as we have creating it.

We understand that this will be a change for everyone, so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to the office staff.

Payments for 2019 need to be paid by February 28th for those participating on a spring team. The annual cost is $40 / Resident Adult and $25/Resident Junior.
