The dog may be noted as man's best friend but it is the cat that holds the title for humans best friend. Cats have saved our rear-end in more ways than one as we shifted from nomadic tribes following the buffalo to settlers, farmers, eventually establishing towns and cities where we relied on clean healthy plentiful crops to feed to feed our family and farm animals. This could not have been accomplished without the super powers of the cat.
