Lord, we pray over every widowed mom and child beginning a new school year.
You know the emotions this season can bring: the excitement, the nerves, the full calendars, the quiet worries, and the moments when the absence of someone deeply loved feels especially tender.
Bring peace into their homes and steadiness to their days.
Provide for every need, seen and unseen.
Give widowed moms wisdom for decisions, patience for hard moments, strength for long days, and rest when they feel weary.
Give their children courage as they walk into classrooms, confidence in who You made them to be, kind friends, caring teachers, and a deep sense that they are safe, loved, and never forgotten.
Let these families feel surrounded by Your faithfulness in the big milestones, the ordinary routines, and every moment in between.
