Rivertown Arts Council The Rivertown Arts Council The Kenner Rivertown Arts Council was appointed by Mayor Michael S. It is a private, nonprofit entity.

Yenni and will be officially recognized by the City Council as an authorized city commission. Our mission is to work in partnership with the City of Kenner, community groups, local, state, national governmental agencies, and other nonprofit arts organizations to meet the arts and cultural needs of the Kenner community through a diversity of initiatives and services. The establishment of the Rivert

own Arts Council comes at a time when Rivertown has been

designated as one of 36 Main Street communities in Louisiana. This designation makes multiple state and federal resources available to help the continued growth of the historic district.
