❤️ St. Margaret Mary Alacoque: A Witness to the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Today, October 16, the Church celebrates the memorial of St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, a religious sister of the Order of the Visitation, who received from Jesus the mission of spreading devotion to His Sacred Heart.

Through her life and witness, we are reminded of the profound depth of Christ’s love—a love that continually gives itself to humanity and, even in the face of indifference and ingratitude, remains an inexhaustible source of mercy and salvation.

True devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus goes beyond outward expressions of piety. It calls us to a sincere response of faith, conversion, and reparation. As we contemplate the pierced Heart of Christ, we encounter the revelation of divine love and hear an invitation to allow Him to transform our own hearts.

May our hearts become more like His—learning to love with generosity, compassion, and selflessness, following the example of the One who gave Himself completely for the redemption of the world.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in You. ❤️

MALTA: A WARM WELCOME AND A REFRESHING ENCOUNTER WITH THE LORD! 🙏

After a long journey and a few travel delays, Deacon Larry & Andi Oney have arrived safely in beautiful Malta!

We are grateful for the warm welcome extended by community leader, Andrew Consiglio, of the Cenacolo Covenant Community, the Youth Fellowship, and his leadership team. Their gracious hospitality and the beautiful convent they have been entrusted with are a wonderful witness to faith, service, and love for the Church.

We are looking forward to what the Lord has in store as we gather in faith and continue the mission of evangelization. We are already feeling refreshed in the Lord and grateful for this beautiful beginning!

Please keep us in your prayers as we serve in Malta. Know that we are praying for you, too!

May the Lord continue to lead us, strengthen us, and make us instruments of His love wherever He sends us! 🕊️

🙏 St. Teresa of Ávila: A Journey of Prayer and Friendship with God

Today, October 15, the Church celebrates the memorial of St. Teresa of Ávila, a Carmelite nun, reformer of the Carmelite Order, and Doctor of the Church.

Her life reminds us that holiness begins with a personal encounter with Jesus Christ and grows through a deep, intimate life of prayer. With a firm resolve to persevere in God’s love, even amid trials and human weakness, St. Teresa showed us that prayer is a journey of friendship with the Lord.

✨ Through prayer, we open our hearts to the transforming power of God’s grace and discover that true peace, the fullness of love, and the deepest meaning of our lives are found in Jesus Christ.

May St. Teresa of Ávila inspire us to grow in prayer, trust more deeply in the Lord, and seek His presence in every moment of our lives.

“Let nothing disturb you, let nothing frighten you. All things are passing; God never changes.” — St. Teresa of Ávila

🙏 A Repentant Heart. A Merciful God. A Renewed Spirit.

In Psalm 51, David reminds us of the power of God’s mercy and the beauty of a heart that sincerely seeks forgiveness.

Deacon Larry Oney reminds us that conversion begins when we come before the Lord with honesty and humility, acknowledging our weaknesses and trusting in His unfailing love. In the Sacrament of Confession, we encounter the grace that forgives our sins, purifies our hearts, and restores our relationship with God.

✨ No matter how far we have fallen, God’s mercy is greater. When we turn back to Him with repentant hearts, He restores the joy of our salvation and renews our desire to walk with Him.

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10

🕊️ God’s Breath. Our Mission. His Glory.

Deacon Larry Oney reminds us that the breath of God not only gives us life but also calls us to a divine mission. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are sent to speak words of life, bring healing, and proclaim freedom in Jesus Christ.

God doesn’t require perfection to work through us. Even in our weaknesses and limitations, He can use us as instruments of His grace to bring hope to those who need it most.

✨ You don’t have to be perfect to be used by God. You simply have to be willing!

Who is God calling you to reach today?

Hearts gathered in faith. Voices lifted in prayer. The people of God came together in El Paso, Texas, with one powerful cry: "Lord, pour out Your Spirit!"🔥🕊️

Andi reminds us of Mary's beautiful openness to God's will and her wholehearted YES to the Holy Spirit.

May we, too, become people who are open to His leading, filled with His presence, and willing to carry Jesus into the world.

Come, Holy Spirit! Renew our hearts, awaken our faith, and set us ablaze with Your love! 🔥

Deacon Larry teaches that amid cultural relativism and the uncertainties of our time, we are called to place our hope in Jesus Christ and live according to the Gospel, for God has given us a kingdom that cannot be shaken and has placed us in this moment of history to bear witness to our faith with courage and fulfill the purpose for which he has called us.

🔥 YOU ARE ABLE BECAUSE GOD ENABLES YOU!

Do you ever feel unqualified or insufficient for what God is calling you to do?

Remember Gideon. God reduced his army to just 300 men to show that the victory comes not through human strength, but through His Spirit!

God is still raising up people, pouring out His Spirit, and equipping His people for the moment we are living in. 🕊️✨

Deacon Larry reminds us that you don't have to rely on your own strength. Be humble. Be open. Receive the fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit, and step into the calling God has placed on your life!

“Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.” — Zechariah 4:6
