LAST CALL to support our 2026 Autism Acceptance Fundraiser! 🧩 We are closing out this year’s online Autism Acceptance Shirt Fundraiser at the end of this month, May 31st. You can purchase unisex, kids, or women’s shirts on our shop at www.kennerfirefighters.org.

There is also a small back-stock from our last Autism shirt design that will be available to purchase at Flavors Snoballs in Kenner. Those shirts will be available for $15 each, with all proceeds going toward this year’s Autism Acceptance Shirt Fundraiser. Please note that limited sizes are available, and only while supplies last.

The men and women of the Kenner Fire Department extend our thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences to the members of the Jefferson Parish East Bank Consolidated Fire Department, as well as to the family and friends affected by this tragic loss. We stand with you during this difficult time as you mourn the loss of one of your own. Our hearts are with all those impacted.

KFFA would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who have shown their support over the last couple of weeks. Whether you have shared our posts, voted in support of firefighters, or had those productive conversations online or in person, we appreciate the interest taken in public safety. We hope everyone continues these conversations and collectively seeks the truth. We will continue to fight for what we know our firefighters deserve and hope you do the same.

Thank you to Joe Stagni State Representative District 92 for continuing his work on firefighter cancer prevention, including new efforts focused on pre-cancerous esophageal screenings.

Firefighters face serious occupational cancer risks from repeated exposure to smoke, toxins, carcinogens, and hazardous environments. Early detection matters, and screening efforts like this can help identify serious health risks before they become life-threatening.

We appreciate Joe Stagni State Representative's continued support for firefighter health and his work to move cancer screening protections forward for active firefighters, retired firefighters, and fire service employees.
