If you are local to us and have the opportunity to vote today authorizing continued funding for Christmas Prelude events, please consider voting C. We have participated for many years in fundraising events during this time and it provides us with 15% or more of our annual operating budget. Aside from helping us Finance important needs for our dogs, it helps us connect with our local communities, and has helped us get the word out to even more people about our little rescue and the needs of our dogs. A huge thank you for a very successful plant sale! We have a few items left over which I'll post below, but first we are so grateful to Sharon Arnold Lux School Of Dance for hosting us for the 6th time. Thank you to our volunteers for growing beautiful plants and volunteering, and to our customers for supporting our mission. Some just came by to put a donation in the jar and many tipped generously for their plant purchases. Much appreciation to Garths Greenery, Silver & Succulent Designs and Wild Maine Gardens for their plant donations. Please remember these generous women-owned businesses when thinking of shopping local.
