ELVES FOR MAINE ELDERLY CHRISTMAS NEEDS LIST

Gift Cards:
Walmart, Amazon, Target
Personal hygiene items
Hydrating lotion (hypoallergenic), Nice shampoo/conditioner
Toothbrushes/toothpaste, Diabetic socks

Scarves, Blankets, Toothbrushes/toothpaste, Knit shawls, Lap blankets, Gloves, Hats
Some small item they can keep and cherish, Slippers (no open backs please. Safey First 😊), Night Gown, Mens pajamas, House Coat/Bathrobe, Coloring books (helps with cognitive and motor skills), Markers, Colored pencils, Crayons, Large print puzzles for community room., Large print books, anything else you think could be helpful to or loved by an Elder.

Hello Friends and Family! My friend and I are piloting a program called Elves for Maine Elderly in York County, ME with the intention of providing a Christmas gift for Mainers in long term care facilities who would otherwise not receive any gifts. EVERYONE deserves to get a little something for Christmas.
If you can help, please mail a gift card for Walmart, Target, or Amazon to attn: Ricki Stevens, Elves for Maine Elderly, 3 Post Office Sq., #233, Kennebunk, ME 04043. (We cannot yet accept cash/checks.) You can also use this address if you prefer to make/buy something and mail it. I’ll try to PIN a wish list post.

This year we are targeting 2 specific locations in Southern Maine, but hope to expand next year!

Welcome to Elves for Maine Elderly! Myself (Ricki Stevens) and co-coordinator Liz Hale have started this page to share information about our program that will primarily be providing gifts to Maine Elders age 55+ in specific long term care facilities who may otherwise not receive anything. EVERYONE deserves a little something from Santa no matter their age :). We will be posting a 'Wish List' we will be asking for donations for (like gift cards, hygiene items, FUN activities, winter wear, etc).
