Re drones used to invade someone's privacy. In Maine there are laws. For horse owners it's particularly invasive. See comment

The work has begun for another horse. Built in 2006 we were so excited when it was done. We toured the property with the horses and I with a glass of w**e while my husband went back to the house to start our celebration of bringing our horses home finally no longer worrying of their safety. In the meantime Blue who was 24 & Lexxie just 6, tried out the new football field size paddock. The racehorse won. 20 years later, today boards were replaced & others secured. The inside of the barn was power washed, sheets/blankets cleaned & ready. Much needed tree work happening soon & the ring will be raked. We have a clean space, safety & love awaiting our next rescue. Who will it be. It's so exciting to be able to help another, potentially 2.

Drones: are a violation of privacy. We heard & spotted by the barn which was not 'air space'. Reported to police & FAA

For those who've asked for ideas on what to do with your unridden horse, this is something that for me is worth all the ribbons & the rides- something I would take over the other. I only regret that because I rode my 1st horse more, I did this less. Sometimes we feel that unless we have the list, the goals, the plan and oh yes, we must train, train, train and of course there's the element of time constraints and the pressure we put on ourselves when there is so much more. This is what builds the relationship and keeps us from parting- it keeps us connected, pointed in the right direction, to do the right thing by them. I sat with them for over an hour this morning, lost in thought, listening to them inspire & exhale, watching Fritzie in REM - his legs running, but mostly I just sat and took it in. How often do we allow ourselves to just be ?
