We continue to program with our elderly horse. He is a perfect therapy horse- sweet & gentle like a teddy bear- appreciative of the attention in our quiet, peaceful setting. Unlike our alpha mare Lexxie who had a big 'bubble', he loves being touched, stroked and hugged. Lexxie was ok with that if you put in the time, but not if she viewed you as a stranger. Her job was helping people understand that as with people & their space, horses need to be respected. Whether you want to learn about horses or to simply benefit from the therapeutic effects & calming energy, we are here for you.

If your horse has developed f***l water and is also a Cushings horse on Prascend or Pergolide, the pill may be the issue.

A 'NO bridle' competition giving the horses freedom of his head which a horse needs for balance! Definitely a trot in the right direction. Why is the U.S. always so slow to do the right thing ? When I competed with my TB, I always had to ask permission to ride in a bitless bridle rather than with a traditional bit. How can that be ? It's ludicrous when bits cause damage to the oral tissues, affects breathing and causes pain to the horse. Anyone who knows anything about horses and their anatomy, knows that. Just look at how comfortable & free flowing the horse is, and how confident the rider knowing she is not hurting her horse.

Next Sunday 26th another Unbridled honoring our beautiful Arabian mare Lexxie. She was unique in her role as a non ridden horse and as a pet which many horses are lucky to be - kept safe from the industry their entire lives. She had a wonderful life as a horse could have with freedom, the best of care and loved.
