CALLING ALL RSU21 HOOPSTERS: WEEK 2 is WED 5:30-6:45 only for this week.

Kennebunk Hoops (KBH) Open Gym is BACK this summer and we'll be held at the Gym at the Middle School of Kennebunks. The KBH open gym program is in addition to the Sunday Open Gyms offered by the KHS Varsity Programs but will offered on a separate day of the week as well as for both girls and boys at the same time. This will be another local option for your players to consider this summer in helping to get our players to the basketball courts and grow their love of the game.

The Kennebunk Hoops Open Gym will be offered on Mondays at the Middle School of the Kennebunks (MSK) from 5:30-6:45 (with the exception of Monday 7/13 moving to Wednesday 7/15). This session will be CO-ED and offered to both the boys and girls. KBH Coaches will ensure that players are grouped based on their ability and age range - and play the role of referees during pickup games.

This will be a pressure free invite for all Kennebunk Hoops players to get some time on the court to play and enjoy basketball during the summer. KBH will open the MSK gym for an hour of old school pick-up hoops and scrimmages with some skills development mixed in.

This is zero cost, and 100% for the players to come have some fun.

Players will be encouraged to get some small sided games (2v2, 3v3) going as this is the best way to expand their skills and develop basketball awareness. There will be time for “Knockout” and “Trick Shots” too for those that want it!

Parents, please feel free to drop the players off and always feel free to contact Coach Mike or other members of the KBH board if you have questions.

• SPECIAL WED 7/15 - Floors will be completed
• MON 7/20
• MON 7/27
• MON 8/3 (tentative, backup date)

****** CALLING ON ALL LADY BALLERS IN RSU21! ******

Good Morning RSU21 Basketball Community!

Another Open Gym Invite within our backyard - this time for the Lady Ballers of RSU21!

Coach Sullivan and the KHS Varsity Program will will host a "Learn & Burn" series for all girls entering 4th thru 8th grade on the following dates:

Sunday June 28th 7:00-8:00pm at KHS/Rams Gym
Sunday July 5th 7:00-8:00pm at KHS/Rams Gym
Sunday July 12th 7:00-8:00pm at KHS/Rams Gym
Sunday July 19th 7:00-8:00pm at KHS/Rams Gym
NOTE: The high school gym floor is being redone after that and will be closed.

These sessions will start with some quick player development skill sessions followed immediately by small sided gameplay. Sessions will be led by KHS Coaches and Players and be designed to maximize your time in the gym at a fun and fast pace. These will all be free of charge.

This fall Coach Sullivan and the KHS program will offer the same type of program to get kids ready for their tryouts in the winter and stay connected to the game, these will also be free of charge.

KBH Players, Parents and Families,

Happy Monday All!

As we get ready to wrap up our 2025-26 season……the 2026 Kennebunk Hoops 5000 Free Throw Club Shoot-a-thon is ON!

OVERVIEW: Every player within the 2025-26 KBH Travel is on a mission to become better free throw shooters in the community. KBH teams is dedicating a single practice towards elevating our commitment to working on our free throw skills. Each player will show 100 free throws on Friday 3/20/2026 Rams Gym and Kennebunk High School. Collectively KBH Travel Teams will have shot more than 5,000 free throws in one night! The KBH Board Members and Coaches will be running this event for our players. We’ve also invited the KHS Girls and Boys Coaches and Players to come join in the fun!

2026 Fundraiser: This is the only KBH Fundraising event for the 2025-26 season – it’s also one that requires support and drive from each player within our 2025-26 KBH Travel Team community in making this a successful adventure – a big time thanks to all of you for your support. Each player will receive their pledge sheet from their coaches this week and will have about 2 weeks to ask for support from their families and neighbors. Pledge options are flat fee donations (no $/per made basket this year) and can be submitted to the players via Cash, Check or Venmo.

The Shoot-a-thon is an event to help teach our players the importance of continuing to work on your shooting and skillsets on your own in additional to our time together on the court.

Congratulations to Kennebunk Senior Kendall Therrien for being voted to the 2026 Class A/B South McDonald's All-Star team!

Kendall is the 8th Kennebunk High School player ever to achieve this honor.

Kendall has another commitment and will not be able to play in the McDonald's All-Star game on March 7th at Husson University. Her spot will be replaced.

Big time Congratulations to Kendall!
