What a wonderful morning for our community! Thank you to everyone who came out to support Saturday’s benefit breakfast for The Little Pantry.

After a long winter, it was so heartwarming to see friends and neighbors gathered together again—sharing great food, enjoying live music, lending helping hands, and simply being glad to be together. The generosity, the smiles, and the energy in the room were such a beautiful reminder of the strength and kindness of this community.

Thank you to all who attended, donated food and raffles, volunteered and helped make this special morning possible. Special shout out to two energetic ring leaders, Annie and Kingsley,  who saw the vision and made it all happen like it was easy! We are so grateful. 💛

Each Thursday we will be posting an updated needs list for the community's information. We'll also share the items we are full up on at that moment in time. Please know that things shift rapidly and the need is high, so don't be surprised if something switches from the don't need list to need in a matter of weeks! The Little Pantry, 16 Water St., Kennebunk

Thank you to everyone who has donated goods and funds to provide our neighbors with some basic necessities. We’ve added a cart for toiletries and other non-food essentials, and created a produce section to stock healthier foods while we can.

Thank you to our produce angels for the cases of fresh produce! And the baker for fresh bread. We rarely get bread or baked goods, so I’m sure it was a treat.

A couple of notes:

* If the office is open, please bring donations inside. We have stock inside (with more shelves coming today - thank you to our donors!!!) and this allows us to rotate based on variety and expiration date.

* Speaking of which, we cannot take expired products of any kind and have to pay to dispose of any you leave. That defeats the purpose of giving.

* If you’re running to the store and want to grab a few things, we’d love some canned pumpkin, pop tarts, cheap can openers, bread and crackers and toiletries - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and toothpaste.

* Please keep any kind of donations coming! We know this will go very quickly. The pantry was nearly empty when I got in this morning and we’ve put out about 50 lbs already and will refill it many times throughout the day.

* And finally, if you know anyone in need, please tell them about The Little Pantry and if they need something specific, have them get in touch. As one woman said yesterday, how lucky are we to be here in the Kennebunks, where the community supports people ❤️

Our friends at Bangor Savings Bank are hosting their Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive again this year!

For each jar of peanut butter or jelly donated, Bangor Savings will donate an additional jar of peanut butter or jelly to The Little Pantry. Donations can be dropped off at the Kennebunk Bangor Savings Bank branch, 30 Main Street or at the Chamber of Commerce, 16 Water Street, Kennebunk.
