We support thoughtful growth and responsible development to ensure the beach area can be enjoy Kennebunk Coastal Association was founded in 1966 to represent the voice of the property owners of the Kennebunk Beach area. Over the years, the KCA has used is membership dues to conduct projects in the best interest of the Kennebunk Beach community, such as financially supporting the circle garden at M

other's Beach, upgrading the sitting area at Gooch's Beach, and working with the Tommy McNamara Foundation to install a ramp for wheelchairs and carriages at Mother's Beach. News about our beaches!

Beach parking permits are now available for purchase for the 2026 Summer season. There are no changes to the rates from last year.

Taxpayer/Resident Season Beach Passes:
🏖️Window Stickers (limit 3) - $10.00 each
🏖️Guest cards (limit 4) - $30.00 each

Non-Resident Beach Passes - No limit:
🏖️Non-Resident - Day $30.00
🏖️Non Resident - Week $100.00
🏖️Non-Resident - Season $200.00

Things to know:
☀️Beach passes are needed to park along the Kennebunk Beaches.
☀️Bring your photo ID to the 2nd Floor of the Town Hall to purchase passes.
☀️Passes are required from June 15th through September 15th for Gooch's Beach, Middle Beach and Mother's Beach.
☀️All passes (whether they are a sticker, card or kiosk print-out) must be in the lower right (passenger side) of your dashboard/windshield.

Why is it on the beach?
Sea Lampreys are native to Maine and move into local rivers like the Kennebunk to spawn this time of year. While they look a bit like sci-fi monsters, they are a natural part of our ecosystem and aren't a threat to people on the sand. Just a cool, prehistoric neighbor passing through!
