At Impact Horse, we’re incredibly proud that "Toast" is a fully qualified and registered Miniature Therapy Horse through the American Miniature Therapy Horse Association (AMTHA).

AMTHA established the first comprehensive qualification standards specifically for miniature therapy horse teams. Becoming an AMTHA Qualified Team requires extensive training, evaluation, and demonstrated professionalism—not just for the horse, but for the handler as well. The standards are designed to ensure teams can safely and confidently visit nursing homes, memory care communities, hospitals, schools, and other facilities.

"Toast" has successfully met these rigorous standards, allowing us to provide safe, meaningful, and professional miniature therapy horse visits throughout Southern Maine.

When inviting a miniature therapy horse into your facility, it’s important to verify that the team has been properly trained and qualified. AMTHA even maintains an online directory so facilities can verify qualified teams.

We are honored to share Toast’s gifts with our community and remain committed to the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and compassionate care.
