This interactive performance for families of all ages includes traditional music, colorful regional costumes, storytelling, and cultural education that celebrates the richness and diversity of Mexico.

Ballet Folklórico Xochiquetzal is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Mexico's indigenous storytelling through traditional folklórico dance, music, and education. Through engaging performances, audiences experience the beauty and diversity of Mexico’s regional traditions while learning about their historical and Indigenous roots.

Sonja Hazelton has lived her whole life in Lake Forest Park, WA. She loves music and sings in a local choir. She loves creating costumes and attends anime conventions like Sakura-Con. She has an invisible disability and is passionate about creating communities where everyone can feel welcome. Sonja....
