We wanted to share this local community bird survey talk that you may find interesting!

The UW Bothell Office of Sponsored Research will kick off their Husky Highlights Seminar Series next Tuesday, Oct 19th at 3:30pm featuring two faculty members in the Division of Biological Sciences, School of STEM:

• Dr. Thelma Madzima, Assistant Professor, Comparing the function of genes in different crop plants to study how plants develop under environmental stress
• Dr. Doug Wacker, Associate Professor, The Lake Forest Park Community Bird Project: Assessing the Long-Term Impacts of Urbanization on Bird Species Diversity and Behavior
