Behind every show at Gaslight Community Theatre is a team of volunteers who make it all possible! Meet the Board of Directors helping lead the magic on and off the stage. Next up is Ellen Herendeen Reuille!

Ellen (Herendeen) Reuille grew up in Kendallville and now lives in Fort Wayne with her husband, Stephen. Ellen works as an event coordinator at Purdue Fort Wayne and as Social Media Manager for The Rcade Comics and Games in Fort Wayne. She has been involved with theater since high school. In her adult life, she served on the Board of Directors for a small Shakespeare troop in Fort Wayne. Her husband joined Gaslight Playhouse when he played Colonel Mustard in Clue, and Ellen joined shortly after. Ellen directed Drop Dead in 2024 and Blithe Spirit in 2025. She also was in the cast of Arsenic and Old Lace and Never After Happily.

Ellen joined Gaslight Playhouse's Board of Directors in the fall of 2025. She serves as the Liaison between Gaslight and the CLC, smoothing the process of planning shows. She looks forward to serving the Gaslight community in any way she can.

The participants of our Children's Theatre Workshop, age 7-13, have been hard at work learning about all aspects of the Theatre. Each has designed a poster to help publicize the show.

"Abby King is a lifelong area resident who is heavily invested in the community. Over the last two decades she has sat on various nonprofit Boards including The Freedom Festival, Restore Avilla, and Avilla LaOtto Charity Group. She currently sits on the Board Gaslight Playhouse Community Theatre and has been an active member of the Gamma Xi Tri Kappa Chapter for nearly twenty years, working to raise money for charity, culture, and education throughout the state of Indiana. Abby is employed as a teacher for East Noble Schools. She has five children ranging in age from nine to twenty-one, and their many activities keep her busy. In her free time, she can be found enjoying time with family and friends, engaging in volunteer work, or experiencing theatre productions from the audience or the stage."

"Chelsea Buwalda has been involved in theater since high school and returned to the Gaslight stage in 2022 as Yvette in Clue. Since then, she has continued performing in productions including Elvira in Blithe Spirit and Megan in Puffs. Outside of Gaslight, Chelsea is the Marketing Manager at Shepherds Family Auto and enjoys using those marketing skills to support Gaslight through social media, promotions, and community outreach. Chelsea lives in Kendallville with her husband and two children."

"Joanna Claudy serves as the current President of Gaslight Playhouse. She's been seen on and off the stage, as an actor (Rumors, Puffs), director (Never After Happily), and prop master. You'll often find her running box office or concessions and helping with community events. Outside of Gaslight, Joanna teaches communication and some theater classes at Trine University."
