Today is National Nonprofit Day, and all of us at Common Grace Ministries want to take a moment to pause, reflect, and say thank you.
Since 1996, our mission has been simple yet deeply impactful: to walk alongside our neighbors in Noble County, offering practical support and a path toward long-term stability. What began as local churches uniting to meet immediate needs has grown into a community-wide movement dedicated to transforming lives.
We don't just supply aid; we build relationships, advocate for families, and work to see our whole community flourish.
Here is a look at the core programs our team and volunteers bring to life every week:
🍏 Friendship Connection Food Center: Providing access to nutritious groceries—including heart-healthy, diabetic-friendly, and gluten-free choices—so every family has access to healthy food.
🏠 A Hope Chest: Supplying basic home furnishings to help individuals and families stabilize and rebuild their living spaces.
🛠️ Getting Started: Assisting working neighbors with essential car repairs so reliable transportation doesn't stand in the way of employment.
🤝 Crisis & Emergency Assistance: Helping community members navigate rent, utilities, housing stability, and vital document restoration.
None of this work happens in a vacuum. Every family served, every meal provided, and every car repaired is possible because of you—our incredible volunteers, donors, and local partners.
How you can join our mission today:
🏃 Run: Join us as a runner or walker &/or sponsor our annual Run With Purpose 5k.
💙 Donate: Financial gifts keep our emergency and stability programs active.
🍞 Give: Donate non-perishable food or basic home goods for our food center and furniture program.
🤲 Volunteer: Give your time and talents to walk alongside neighbors in need.
Thank you for believing in our mission and standing with us for nearly 30 years. Together, we are building a stronger, more compassionate community.
