A Message to Our Community
After many years of serving the Kenai Peninsula and surrounding
communities, the Challenger Learning Center of Alaska has officially
closed its doors as of November 2025.
This decision was not made lightly. Despite strong community interest and the dedication of staff, volunteers, and partners, ongoing revenue and funding was not sufficient to sustainably support operations. After careful consideration, the Board of Directors made the difficult choice to wind down the organization.
Our Gratitude
We are deeply grateful to the educators, students, families, donors,
partners, and community members who believed in the mission of
Challenger Learning Center of Alaska. It has been an honor to provide hands-on STEM education, workforce training, and experiential learning opportunities to our community.
The impact of this work lives on in the curiosity sparked, skills
gained, and futures influenced by the programs we were privileged to offer.
Program Enrollment & Inquiries
At this time, we are no longer accepting registrations or inquiries
for programs, events, or training. While the website remains live to
share this update, Challenger Learning Center of Alaska is no longer
operating and cannot respond to requests.

Thank you for your support, encouragement, and belief in STEM
education in Alaska. We are proud of what was built together and
grateful for the community that made it possible.
