About Didi

Cordelia “Didi” is a lifelong Kutztown resident and a proud graduate of the Class of 2005. As the owner of New Vision Salon, Didi has built more than a successful small business in our community—she has created a welcoming space where clients, friends, and neighbors feel cared for, encouraged, and valued.

Giving back has always been at the heart of who Didi is. She mentors local high school students by providing real-world work experience in her salon, supported hair donation programs benefiting children experiencing medical hair loss, and organized numerous community outreach initiatives, including Operation Christmas Child shoebox collections, winter coat drives, and donation campaigns for local women’s shelters and families in need. Whether through her business or her personal life, Didi is known for quietly serving others and strengthening the community she loves.

Today, Didi is facing a challenge of her own. Following a recent breast health diagnosis, she is preparing for a tumor removal surgery and a minimum eight-week recovery that will prevent her from working. This unexpected time away from the salon means a complete loss of income while medical expenses and household bills continue to grow.

This grant is allowing Didi to focus on what matters most—healing and being there for her son. Didi has spent years lifting up others, and this grant is a meaningful reminder that her community is now lifting her up.

Good morning from all of us at Tears For Kids. We are still trying to retrieve all of the ticket stubs. So we are going to hold off on picking the sellers prize until next weekend. As of this morning, All tickets are now sold. We can't thank everyone enough for all the sellers hard work on making this Raffle a huge success. And thank all of you, for your contributions, in keeping this charity making "one smile at a time"!
