The GF@K features Seminars, Demonstrators, Gunmakers, Artisans, Horners, and Juried Vendors.

The Gunmakers Fair at Kempton is presented by the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association, Honourable Company of Horners, Jacobsburg Historical Society and the PA Federation of Black Powder Shooters. "Our mission is to preserve and present the art and industry of making early American muzzleloading fi****ms and accouterments. Bringing together artisans and crafts people that help create and supp

ort the gunmaking industry. Promote muzzleloading by giving seminars on topics such as gunmaking, horn making, bag making, gun collecting, match competition, hunting, historical re-enactments, and other educational based programs. Our second annual event at the Kempton Community Center is set for July 28, 29, 30, 2023 so save the date!

Help us celebrate America’s 250th anniversary surrounded by all of the things that you love. We have big plans for the fair this year and hope that you all will be joining us!

We want to say a big 💥THANK YOU💥 to all of those who helped make the 4th annual Gunmakers Fair a success! From the attendees, to the vendors, demonstrators, and living history participants. We would also like to recognize the staff, judges, and everyone behind the scenes. We are thankful to those organizations that helped to support the fair and make this event possible. Without all of you, this event would not be possible. Let’s continue to preserve the history and traditions of the 18th and 19th century muzzleloading culture. We hope to see you all next year!
