We had a great sail the other weekend. Despite winds in the upper teens, someone still decided to break out the spinnaker.

Support Triumph Sailing's team of veterans as they race in the 2023 Harvest Moon Regatta! The Harvest Moon is a 160 mile offshore race in the Gulf of Mexico from Galveston to Port Aransas. This October, Triumph Sailing will enter TWO boats with twelve veteran crewmembers in this amazing challenge. You can join the crew and support our team by clicking the link below. Funds raised will pay for entry fees, safety equipment, fuel, food, accomodations, and maintenance. every little bit helps, so join the team and help our warrior-sailors in this incredible challenge!

Twenty years ago tonight, the U.S. initiated a campaign of "shock and awe," launching its invasion of Iraq. Many of the people I sail with, Luke myself, are veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan.
