Bought by grandmother Black in 1956, the land is now home to a loose community of farmers, builders, WWOOFers, artisans and friends. Black harvested in exchange for the down payment remain and are still producing! Nestled between the chaparral of Mt. Konocti and the tules of Clear Lake, our various members work the land, study the teachings of Rudolf Steiner, make wooden Waldorf toys, operate a welding shop, host on-site art and education events, and share many a farm fresh meal together.
