JUNE TOURNEY RESULTS
The day started out at 60degrees with clear skies and no wind. By the end of the day it was 94 with a slight breeze if you were lucky enough to find it. The post spawn bite was very slow for most of us and the bite was before sunrise. After the sun came up it got tougher but fish were still caught. This was a draw tournament so each angler caught their own five fish. This is done at the end of each half of the year as a tiebreaker to determine spring and fall champs. The top baits were the dropshot with a purple worm followed by the chatter bait and carolina rig. Here are the results:
Robert Leinen - 5 fish for 14.11lbs big fish 3.37lbs

Wyatt Sells - 5 fish for 9.08lbs. big fish 3.45lbs

Cameron Cole - 3 fish for 8.25lbs. big fish 4.96lbs

Wes Crawford - 3 fish for 6.89lbs. big fish 3.08lbs

Travis Keen - 3 fish for 6.11lbs big fish 2.73lbs

Phil Copas 2 fish for 4.04lbs

Scott DeLeon 1 fish for 3.46lbs
Dan Knight 1 fish for 3.08lbs.

Steve Peckham 2fish for 2.96lbs.

Spring Champ Results:
Wyatt Sells with 372 points
Cameron Cole with 370 points
Wes Crawford with 368 points

Thanks everyone for coming out! next month's tournament is July 5th. This is a fun tournament out of Lakeside County Park and maybe BBQ? I'll let everyone know after the next meeting with an update.

April Tourney Results

The Club fished Trinity Lake for the first time this year. It was a challenge for most learning a new lake. There was still snow at the higher elevations. The temp in the morning was in the low 30's and warmed up to the low 60's the water temp was 48 degrees. My outboard motor froze up on day two of pre fishing so I did not fish the tournament.

Here are the results:
Scott DeLeon, Scott Zandt & Mike lecox 17.85lbs

Josh copas & George HIll 12.81lbs big fish of 5.31lbs.

Skip Remley & Phil Copas 8.88lbs.

Wyatt Sells, Travis Keen & Justin 5.01lbs

Next month is the fun tournament out of Lakeside County Park.

Dan Knight & Wes Crawford 5 fish for 18.78lbs. big fish of 5.07lbs.

Scott De Leon & Cameron Cole 5 fish for 17.80lbs. big fish of 5.00lbs.
