✴️ Calling all local high school seniors!

The Jackass Half Marathon committee is giving out THREE $1,500 scholarships for local seniors who plan to pursue post-secondary education! One scholarship will be awarded to a high school track or cross country runner and the other two will be awarded to exemplary high school volunteers. Thank you to everyone who has supported this race for the last six years; because of your support we are able to give back to the youth of our community!

*Applicants must be graduating from Kellogg High School, Wallace High School, or Mullan High School in Spring of 2026.
*Applications must be submitted by May 15th, 2026. Tag seniors or families of seniors who might be interested!

🚌📚✏️ For years, the students in the Kellogg High School shop class have made our finisher medals. Partnerships between schools and community events are made possible by funding from levies. These classes will not have the resources to partner with the Jackass Half Marathon if they do not receive levy funding.

Additionally, dozens of students from the local high schools sign up to volunteer for our race through extracurricular classes and clubs (ROTC, Leadership, ASB, National Honors Society, etc.). Many of these classes and advisor positions are funded by levies. Opportunities for students to be exposed to community engagement, volunteer work, and extracurricular clubs in school will be limited if they don’t receive levy funding.

Bottom line: Levies support schools. Schools support communities ✅
