A couple times a year the lake and the north pond are connected after a rainfall event. This is currently happening on the North Shore of Kelleys.

If you take the boardwalk, there is a large tree down, but it is possible.

Trails on the island are draining quickly and in pretty good shape today. The ramps are coming out strong near the alvar!
