Angel spent 28 years as an EMT helping people through some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Now, he finally has someone helping him too.

Michelle wasn’t asking insurance for something extravagant.

She was asking for a sensory steam roller doctors recommended to help her 2-year-old daughter regulate during chemo treatment for an optic pathway tumor connected to NF1.

The equipment cost under $1,000.
Insurance denied it anyway.

Families like Everly’s fall into the gaps of systems that were supposed to help them.

That’s why Chive Charities exists.

For 28 years, Angel was the person showing up when others needed help most.

As an EMT, he spent nearly three decades helping people through emergencies.

Now, after Multiple Sclerosis changed his life, he’s learning to navigate a world where even simple movement can become exhausting and unpredictable.

But thanks to our Chive Charities family, Angel is receiving funding toward a professionally trained service dog through ECAD.

A partner who will help him move through the world more safely.

Good boy, Beacon 🐾

In March you met Theresa. A woman who was active most of her life until EDS, POTS and other conditions began to take a toll on her body.

Because of people like you, Beacon has started professional service dog training and recently passed his first course!

It's the kind of support that is going to change her daily life in powerful ways!
