Su***de or suicidal ideation is something still not widely discussed enough for teens and young adults.

Stepping Stones Foundation has been especially affected these past few months both emotionally and financially. Our clients have a special set of circumstances that makes su***de more prevalent due to trauma.

We wanted to highlight that mental health assistance has been our focus for 2026 due to high demand. Unfortunately we have had young adults contemplating su***de these past months which has been heartbreaking, requiring over $10K for one admission and $1K per week in therapy with constant supervision by our team.

We wanted to give a heartfelt thanks to all our staff, volunteers and especially our donors who provide us the ability to carry out life changing work.

Stepping Stones Foundation is working their mission and making connections and partnerships with the community they serve for youth in crisis.

Attending the KISD Back to School Bash at Fossil Ridge High School, our founder and Executive Director were identifying needs, giving out snacks and toiletries and gift cards to shop at the Stepping Stones Boutique.

This is community in action where it’s needed most.

The Dallas Children’s Charities raises money to assist the At-Risk Children of the Dallas / Fort Worth area and support those local community charities on the forefront and in the trenches with these Children!

This week, Director Roy Whifill hand delivered a much appreciated grant to Stepping Stones Foundation for our Hunger Force program for our clients. This is the same day that our foundation gave out 250 microwave meals and depleted our pantry.

The Greater Keller Women’s Club Foundation, Celebrating 30 Years, 1996-2026 of Annual Distribution of Funds was a great success.

It was a great night hearing from 26 of 37 scholarship recipients about where they will be going to continue their educations. What a remarkable group of students!

Stepping Stones Founaton was one of the 19 grant recipients who shared their gratitude and what their services provide in our communities.

A Big Thank you to The Greater Keller Women’s Club for providing a delightful and meaningful evening and enabling our foundation to continue funding our programs.
