We celebrated some big milestone work anniversaries at Christ's Haven today. 🥳

Thank you to Jaimee (15 years), Summer (10 years), and Dan (10 years) for their years of service to the organization and mission. Today our team celebrated all of the ways they contribute to Normalcy, Dignity, and Hope.

At Christ’s Haven, living out our core value of Dignity includes supporting displaced youth with hair care routines that reflect who they are and celebrate their heritage.

Recently, our Houseparents participated in a hands-on class led by the wonderful team at Texture Techniques to learn tips for styling textured hair.

When our houseparents take the time to learn culturally specific hair and skin care, they build self-esteem and trust. Thank you to the Texture Techniques team for such a fun and practical training.

Happy "National Good Neighbor Day!" from Christ's Haven! As one of our Guiding Principles, youth living at Christ's Haven live in one of the houses across our neighborhood of homes. On a regular day, you'll see kids playing outside, riding bikes, and houseparents walking dogs and talking with their neighbors.

Our neighborhood looks a lot like yours.

We appreciate everyone who makes it possible for youth at Christ's Haven to experience the childhood joys of a neighborhood. 🏡🏡🏡

We want to send out 194 thank yous to each of the 194 donors who gave to Christ’s Haven! Our North Texas Giving Day campaign was an overwhelming success raising $36,000+. We are incredibly grateful for the generosity shown to Christ’s Haven today. Those funds will be stewarded continuing our trauma-informed, family model of care.

Because of your generosity and investment in Christ’s Haven, children, teens, and young adults will be provided Normalcy, Dignity, and Hope.

When you donate to Christ’s Haven, you are making possible a trauma-informed, family model of care. That means when displaced youth live in one of the houses in our neighborhood of homes they are living in a family unit. While we know we can never replace a child’s biological family, we want to provide as much family-like structure and support that a child deserves.

With our Core Value of Normalcy, we believe every child deserves a childhood. Houseparents care for around 5-8 youth and provide all of the caretaking needs for a child. Family dinners, helping with homework, taking to soccer practice, etc.
