Hello Gardeners! During this time of remaining at home it is a wonderful opportunity to be planting in our own gardens. Summer Phloxs are a nice perenial and offer months of nice fragant flowers which the butterflies and hummingbirds adore. If you need to spray for insects always try Neem Oil first so you do not destroy beneficial insects. Remember to wash out your pots from last years growing season. Use new soil int the pots for the plants. Fertilize these plants. Keep your eyes out for new outbreaks of Rose Rosette. If you find this rose disease, remove the plant ASAP and place in an enclosed plastic bag. Happy Gardening during this time!

Like Eggplant and need a new idea how to prepare it? Slice eggplant lengthwise into half-inch planks. Brush both sides with oil. Turn on the grill and grill 2 to 3 minutes or until grill marks appear. Turn over grill opposite side. Be sure to add lots of salt and pepper. Serve with a nice mango salsa or pinneapple relish. Enjoy!
