As we start the new year I thought I would share this post again. I haven’t posted a lot to it lately with the holidays and all but just want to let you know that he is on the list at Baylor in Dallas and now on the one at Willis Knighton North in Shreveport. If anyone would like more information you can message me and I can give you all the details. Kevin has been on the list for 3.5 years and they are telling us now it may take 9 years without a living donor. We know that God has the final say on this so we are trusting him. Please feel free to share. We are so thankful for all of our friends and family that have kept us on your prayers.

Just wanted to share an update on Kevin: This is an answer to prayer.

Kevin is being placed on the transplant list at WK hospital in Shreveport. The rules are different here so if anyone tried to donate at Baylor and want to try again at WK I can give you the information. I know that the body weight index is not as high as it is at Baylor and medications are different too. I know we had 3 or 4 people that tried at Baylor and we appreciate it so much so just wanted to give you the information in case you are still interested and this is closer to home also. I wanted to give an update on Kevin. Haven’t done this in awhile. We went to Dallas yesterday for his yearly checkup with Baylor to make sure he is still a candidate for transplant and he is. We are thankful for that. I am also asking that you would continue to pray for us because we are trying to get him listed on a couple of more hospital lists so that he has more options. We just found out about one this morning and it would be easier on him for follow-up visits. Also please continue to pray for a living donor for him. We know this is his best option. We are so thankful for all of you that have been on this journey with us and have been praying for us. We appreciate it more than you know.
