COVID-19 UPDATE:

Based on updated guidance released earlier this afternoon regarding maximum group sizes, we are suspending all Pack 8005 Scouting functions for the next 15 days. After that time, we will re-evaluate our options based on updated guidance available at that time. Our primary concern is the safety of our Scouts and those they may come in contact with.

In the meantime, Pack leadership will contact each family with some suggestions for advancement requirements that each Scout can work on independently. This is optional and it is up to each family and Scout to decide on their interest in working independently.

Be safe!

ADK Cub Klondike CANCELED

I'm sorry to announce but, we have made the decision to cancel tomorrow's Cub Scout Klondike due to the weather. The forecast is calling for below zero wind chills that will make it unsafe conditions. not to mention the fact that everyone will be needing to get their own places cleared of snow to even get out tomorrow morning.

We will begin the process of refunding your money.

On a brighter note the American Legion POST 1619 is having their Winterfest next Saturday the 15th. There is a youth obstacle course race for youth. The following age groups are 4-6 girls/boys, 7-9 girls/boys, 10-12 girls and 10-12 boys. Each group will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies for the best times in each group. Also for the first 25 kids that sign up Saturday morning the Legion is giving out winter hat. Also, we will have the Klondike patches we will be handing out to all. And its all no charge! The event is 9-10am is registration with the first race starting 10am.

So, again I apologize for having to cancel but feel it's in the best interest of everyone.
