**Important CCW News:
There has been a settlement in recent weeks in a case involving non- New York residents applying for NY CCW permits. Residency or employment in New York is no longer required. The NYSP website has been updated:

Is New York residency or employment required to apply for a firearm license?

No. New York law does not require residency or in-state employment to apply for a firearm license. While the Penal Law directs applicants who live or work in New York to file their firearm application in the county of residence or principal place of employment, this provision does not exclude nonresidents from applying. Licensing officers may accept applications from nonresidents, and residency is not among the eligibility criteria for being issued a firearm license. Applications from nonresidents who do not live or work in New York should be evaluated under the same standards as all others.

Tell your out-of-state friends and family to start applying. They will need to complete the 18-hour class as well.

We finished chairs yesterday and brought to the range today they turned out great thank you to Randy Ryan and Bob Pasho for helping build them and Justin Michael Stanford for helping get material and help bringing them to the range, Also thank you to Ridge Ryan who tested the chair out .

3D archery league this Sunday August 16th at 4pm. This is week 2. If you missed week 1 you can still make that week up or just come out and shoot the course with fellow archers. We will meet at the outdoor archery range at 3:45 pm for warm ups and safety briefing and then out on the course. If you are new to 3D archery and want to give it a try, stop by and we will get you started. Hope to see you there.
