Thank you all for coming out this last weekend to help us celebrate our smiley. The alumni game was another success this time ending in a tie. We added a new feature kinda like Banana ball but called Rebel ball. It was so fun to watch! Both teams really put on a show❤️🩵⚾️

We didn’t have as many co****le teams but it was still so fun to watch and play in it. So many thanks go into this weekend but the biggest thanks to Tassidy Weaver C.A. Chris Weaver Jr. for organizing this event every year. Big thank you to my sis in law Stephanie Marshall-Sully my brother Richie Sully my nephew Alexander Sully my niece mollie and my mom Donna Milk who woke early Sunday morning to make the bread for the delicious Indian tacos served for lunch. If you haven’t had one of her tacos you sure are missing out! There was some fun matchups this year!!

More thank yous to my bestest friend Sarah D Ealey who always goes above and beyond to help organize our events every year! She volunteers her time out of the goodness of her heart and I can’t ever thank you enough! Thank you to Dina Prince Stacey David Dinges for helping with running the raffle stand and for helping serve tacos, taking vids and pics. We appreciate you all so much and the lovely ladies Natalie, Vivian and Aubree for helping with the admissions and music Friday.

Truly big thanks to Allyy Cahalan Pepper Pod Restaurant Hippie Hunter's Homestead Gail Zelinski Sara Neill for donating raffle items and to all who bought tickets. They all were amazing!! Probably our biggest raffles yet!

Big thanks to Fill My Cup & Que Buenos tacos for the yummy food and drinks! Thank you Coach Cardenas, Ryan Witzel and the two umps who came to umpire the alumni game. It was such a great turnout and it was so nice to see so many of you come out and help celebrate our son Gavin. He truly did love baseball and this community and we can’t thank you all enough for supporting us thru the years. Gavin was definitely loved by so many and we know he would’ve done great things🥲 Thank you all again and see you next year🙏🏼

Hey all our 6th memorial smiley events are coming up quick. We will be having another alumni game and co****le tournament August 2nd & 3rd. Please reach out to myself or Derek if you are wanting to play in the alumni game or participate in the co****le tournament. There will be raffle items as well again this year. You must be present to win. We will be serving food at the co****le tournament and will be selling smiley tshirts!!! Please come out and help us celebrate our Smiley and just have a good time.

There will be a $5 admission fee for the alumni and $20 per team for the Co****le tournament. We accept cash and venmo.

All money raised goes back to our weld central baseball program in Gavin’s honor! Thank you all so much for your continued love and support 🩵❤️🙏🏼

What another great weekend remembering our smiley! So many thanks to all who help make this weekend one to remember!

Thank you Sarah D Ealey who always goes above and beyond and gives so much of her time to help us. It wouldn’t be possible without you! You have such creativity and super bummed the idea of the 3 didn’t quite work out we ran out of time but we definitely know why we were all there😭

Thank you C.A. Chris Weaver Jr. Timmy Schultz and all the weaver family/friends who help with organizing the Co****le tournament. Congrats to Kyle Farner and son Jackson for being our 1st place winners and thank u for letting us use your boards. Congrats to my brother Richie Sully and nephew Alexander Sully for being great competitors the last 3yrs. Back to back champs still pretty good🥰 and to all who participated in our Co****le tournament! It was a beautiful day!

Thank you to my sister in law Stephanie Marshall-Sully for making thee best Indian tacos! We all loved them so much!!! And to my mother in law Vicki Johann for making the yummy green chile!! Indian tacos were a big hit!!! Thanks to my family who helped serve as well❤️

Thank you to WhipStitch Graphix LLC again for making our smiley shirts for the alumni game they turned out so great!!! Our son loved baseball and to see Lucas and his teammates and Derek Johann and his hs teammates come out and put on a great game for the second year in a row was just so much fun!! Thank you Ryan witzel, Harrison Chisum coach Cardenas for making sure the field was in shape to play on!

Thanks to my family for coming here and being big helpers! I already miss you guys! Yummy food and laughter is just what we needed after the week we had. We’re just still so blessed with the love and support we get for our son Gavin. It’s been 5yrs and still feels like yesterday. We will continue to do our best to keep his memory alive so thank you all!!! We love and appreciate you all so much! See you all next year❤️🩵⚾️

You must be present to be named a WINNER. There will be two separate drawings this year. One at the Alumni Baseball game (August 9th Weld Central High School Baseball field at 7pm) and one at the Co****le Tournament (August 10th Donelson Park 4500 Midland St. Brighton, CO at 9am)

Another amazing weekend remembering our smiley! No words can really express how we feel we’re just so thankful for the continued love and support. So many thanks involved but a big thank you to Lance Fleming Wendy Boatwright Flemingfor all your hardwork you guys put into the field and helping us get the game started we couldn’t do this without your help. What a game!!! Was so fun to see the throwbacks take on the Varsity Rebels!

A big thank you to our friends Sarah D Ealey Allyy Cahalan who helped with getting donations for our raffle and running the concessions and helping get everything organized. You guys are so amazing and we love y’all so much!

Thank you to Art Cindy Vielma Nolin who run the grill every year. You are just so awesome! We love & appreciate you all!

Ended our day visiting Gavin with my family. Lots of tears shed remembering where we were 4yrs ago and how much our lives changed. As much as it’ll always hurt we keep his memory alive everyday, every month, every year! Thank you all again we love each of you all so much❤️🩵⚾️

Tonight is the night! Come out and watch some fun baseball!!! The throwbacks vs the Rebels Varsity team. It’ll be a fun night. We will also have a food truck and will be selling beverages as well!! $5 for entrance fee.

Also for Saturday if you are playing Co****le we will have registration at 8:30am and will be starting at 9am. You can also message me or Derek what your team name will be. It’s $20 per team.

Here are some of the raffle items. There will also be broncos tickets and coach bags. You can purchase raffle tickets online as well. All money raised will go back to the WC baseball team in Gavin’s honor.

If you’re planning to play Co****le please message me or leave here what your team name is. We will have a Venmo code but it’ll be cash/check for both the alumni game and the Co****le tournament. It’ll be $5 entry fee for the game and $20 per Co****le team. We’re getting close to the event and hope to see you all there! Always we thank you for the continued love and support🩵❤️

Also the park doesn’t allow to stake your canopy into the ground so please bring sandbags or some type of way to weigh it down. Sorry🙏🏻 if you have any questions message myself or Derek. Thanks again!

Attention Weld Central alumni baseball players from 1990-2000 we are planning to have an alumni baseball game this year for the annual Smiley Foundation - Gavin Scott Johann Memorial if you or know anyone that would like to play in the game please contact myself or Derek Johann the game will be played at 6pm at Weld Central HS august 4th. Wow just wow! It is hard to find the words to say how much this last weekend meant to us. There were lots of laughs, happy/sad tears, and just pure gratitude. Three years ago we were so amazed by the love and support we received for Gavin & this last weekend we are still blown away!

So many highlights from the weekend but my fave was seeing the balloon release at the baseball game🥲 He truly loved baseball and to watch a game at Weld Central again was just so bittersweet.

So much goes into the planning process and we’re forever grateful to everyone who helped make this last weekend a success for our son Gavin. From all who helped plan, to all who donated and participated we just say thank you! Gavin’s presence was definitely felt🥲❤️💙🙏🏻 #3
