🌟 **CHURCH SPOTLIGHT | Katy Seventh-day Adventist Church**

For one special day, the church became a place where neighbors could receive care, find helpful resources, and experience the love of Christ in practical ways.

On June 7, 2026, Katy Seventh-day Adventist Church welcomed the community for its Health Clinic. Medical professionals and volunteers provided dental and vision services, while other teams assisted with registration, community resources, clothing, refreshments, and hospitality.

What stands out in this video is the number of people using their individual gifts toward one shared purpose. Healthcare professionals, ministry leaders, church members, and volunteers of all ages worked side by side to ensure every guest felt welcomed and cared for.

The conversations, smiles, and testimonies captured throughout the day remind us that community outreach is about more than providing a service—it is about building relationships and letting people know they matter.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible and to Katy Seventh-day Adventist Church for continuing to serve its community in Christ’s name!

🌟 CHURCH SPOTLIGHT | DFW Fil-Am Blessing Bag Project

What began as a simple service project for the Ranger class—with a goal of just 50 blessing bags—quickly captured the heart of the entire congregation. As church members heard about the project, their excitement grew, participation spread, and more than 200 blessing bags were assembled!

The Fil-Am Pathfinders, Adventurers, church members, and staff then partnered with Beautiful Feet Ministries in Fort Worth to serve meals to people experiencing homelessness, worship alongside them, and distribute the blessing bags as parting gifts.

Each bag also included a copy of Steps to Christ, and some of the youth were moved to see recipients begin reading the book right away.

Beautiful Feet Ministries invited the group to return and even offered them an opportunity to lead a future worship service. This simple Ranger class project energized the entire church and opened the door for continued frontline service and witnessing opportunities. Members returned home already asking, “When’s the next one?”

We are grateful to everyone who helped bring this project to life and especially proud of these young people for putting their faith into action. When one small idea is embraced by a church family, its impact can grow far beyond what anyone imagined!

🌟 CHURCH SPOTLIGHT | Wichita Falls 3 Angels SDA Church

Serving a meal can do so much more than fill a plate—it can create connection, build relationships, and remind someone that their community cares. ❤️

The members of Wichita Falls 3 Angels Seventh-day Adventist Church are putting their 20-foot food trailer to work as a ministry on wheels!

With the support of the Texas Conference and the North American Division, the church was able to acquire the trailer and equip their members to serve their community in meaningful ways.

🍽️ Every other month, the team uses the trailer to provide meals for individuals experiencing homelessness.

🎒 It also supports church and community outreach events such as their Back-to-School Bash.

⛑️ And when disaster strikes in their area, the trailer is ready to help provide meals and support to those affected.

This ministry is backed by an incredible team of 33 certified food handlers and 5 certified food managers who are prepared to operate the trailer safely and effectively.

But perhaps the greatest blessing is seeing church members come together, serve side by side, and spend time getting to know the people in their community.

Thank you, Wichita Falls 3 Angels, for showing what it looks like to take ministry beyond the walls of the church and meet people where they are!

🌟 CHURCH SPOTLIGHT | Laurel Heights SDA Church 🌟

What happens when ministries come together with one purpose? The community gets blessed! 🎒❤️

The AY Ministry and Community Services Ministry at Laurel Heights Seventh-day Adventist Church joined forces to help young students in their community prepare for a new school year through a Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway.

More than backpacks and school supplies were being shared that day. This was the church putting Christ’s love into action—meeting a practical need, encouraging families, and reminding their neighbors that the church is there to serve.

We love seeing local churches and ministries working together as one to make a difference in their communities!

🙏 May God continue to bless the members and volunteers at Laurel Heights as they look for new ways to serve their neighbors in Christ’s name.

⛪ CHURCH SPOTLIGHT | Waxahachie SDA Church

🎒 150 backpacks packed. More than 100 children served. And every backpack given with prayer.

This past Sunday, the Waxahachie Seventh-day Adventist Church helped local students prepare for a new school year through its annual backpack and school supply giveaway.

With 100 backpacks provided through donations and another 50 supplied by the church, volunteers packed 150 backpacks with school supplies ready for children in the community.

This year brought a new location and a little uncertainty about what to expect, but families came—and approximately 110 backpacks were distributed during the event. The remaining backpacks will continue to bless children whose needs have been identified in the community over the coming days.

And there was plenty more happening than backpacks! ❤️

Children enjoyed Jesus-centered crafts, games, and free snow cones from the Kona Ice truck, creating a fun and welcoming environment for families. Most importantly, the church made prayer part of the outreach, praying for the children and families receiving the supplies.

We are thankful for churches like Waxahachie that continue finding practical ways to meet needs, build relationships, and show families that their community cares.

🌟 Church Spotlight | Gulfhaven Seventh-day Adventist Church – Houston, Texas

Sometimes the smallest act of kindness becomes the beginning of something much bigger.

After a successful Drive Through Prayer event earlier this year, Gulfhaven Seventh-day Adventist Church expanded that vision into a Community Faith & Family Day—sharing God’s love through prayer, free meals, backpacks, ice cream, Christian literature, and meaningful conversations with their neighbors.

Despite forecasts of heavy storms, God provided a cool breeze and only light rain, allowing the outreach to continue as planned. Families from across the community stopped by to receive practical support, encouragement, and prayer. One of the most touching moments came when several women returned to share how God had answered prayers offered during the church’s earlier Drive Through Prayer ministry.

This outreach is a beautiful reminder that when we faithfully plant seeds of compassion, God brings the harvest. Thank you to the dedicated volunteers, supporters, and church members who made this day possible and helped share the hope of Jesus with their community.
