Huge shout out to Keene Independent School District and the FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) chapter for coming by and helping us break down and sort care packages into smaller, more manageable boxes and sorting some donations!

This was a great group of students that jumped right in and worked hard the whole time โ€” no complaints, even with the Texas warehouse heat doing its thing. Big thank you to their sponsor, Fred, for bringing the group out and spending part of the day serving alongside us.

We truly appreciate the servant hearts, great attitudes, and willingness to help make a difference for others. Thank you all for your support!

Adventist Community Services is proud to recognize the nominees of this year's ACS Difference Maker Award.

While not every nominee can be selected as the award recipient, being nominated is a meaningful honor. It reflects the positive impact they are making in the lives of others through kindness, leadership, service, and character โ€” and it means that someone took notice.

The influence they have on their school, church, family, and community is truly something to be celebrated. Today, we want to honor and encourage them as they continue to make a difference each and every day.

Please join us in congratulating our nominees:

๐ŸŽ‰ Alexander de la Paz

Texas Adventist Community Services is thrilled to once again partner with the Education Department to recognize students who are going above and beyond to make a meaningful impact in their communities!

Deborah and I just wrapped up several days on the road, and what an incredible honor it has been to personally present the ACS Difference Maker Awards to some truly inspiring young people. ๐Ÿ†

Please join us in congratulating this year's recipients:

๐ŸŽ‰ Alissa Meharry
๐ŸŽ‰ Chloe Primero

This past Sabbath we were honored to preach at Hill Country SDA Church about reaching your community. In the afternoon, we had the opportunity to lead a training on additional ways to engage your community and how to be prepared in times of disaster.

Thank you, Pastor Forde and Melissa, for the invitation and for coordinating everything so well. It was truly a blessed Sabbath!

Grateful for the opportunity to support the community in Mineral Wells following the recent tornado. ๐Ÿ™

Today, essential supplies were delivered to the Mineral Wells Center of Life to assist families as they begin the recovery process. Items included clean-up buckets, hygiene kits, diapers, socks, trash bags, toilet paper, and moreโ€”simple things that make a meaningful difference in times like these.

A special thank you to Brenda Furr from the Mineral Wells SDA Church for helping connect us with local needs, and to David Lambeth for making the trip to deliver the supplies.

Continuing to keep this community in our prayers as recovery efforts move forward.

When God calls, we should have only one answerโ€ฆ. "Here am I. Send me!"

Always a pleasure to host a group of SWAU students each year as they serve the community and reflect Godโ€™s love through their actions.

ACS leaders, quick heart check: when we step out to serve, are people experiencing God through us? If not, letโ€™s realign and make sure everything we do points back to Him.
