An important update for our MCVP community. 💜
Today, we are sharing that the programs and services of the Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention (MCVP) are transitioning to The Center for Safer Communities, who will now serve all of southwestern New Hampshire.
While the name providing these services is changing, the commitment to survivors and to the Monadnock region continues.
The Center for Safer Communities will carry forward MCVP’s essential work, providing free and confidential support and advocacy for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and abuse throughout southwestern New Hampshire.
We know that change can bring questions. In the coming months, The Center for Safer Communities will be listening and learning from the Monadnock community, including through community listening sessions where survivors, partners, service providers, supporters, and community members can share their perspectives and help inform the path forward.
As this transition takes place, this MCVP social media account will no longer be the primary source for updates and information.
