Today, we proudly celebrated 43 years of Crime Stoppers of Johnson County and the incredible impact this organization has made in our community.

For more than four decades, Crime Stoppers has partnered with citizens and law enforcement to help keep Johnson County safe by providing a way for people to anonymously report crime and make a difference.

This milestone is a testament to the dedication of our board members, law enforcement partners, volunteers, and community members who continue to support our mission year after year.

Thank you to everyone who has played a role in our success over the last 43 years. Together, we have helped solve crimes, bring justice to victims, and make our communities stronger and safer.

CAPTURED: Texas 10 Most Wanted S*x Offender Kit Edward Lulow is now back in custody after he was located in Mexico.

The U.S. Marshals Joint East Texas Fugitive Task Force coordinated Lulow’s capture, and he was turned over to the Texas Rangers at the Progreso Port of Entry last week. DPS Criminal Investigations Division Special Agents from Texarkana also assisted in the investigation.

As National Police Week continues, we are proud to recognize our Chief of Police, Rob Severance. 💙👮‍♂️

Chief Severance has dedicated decades to public service and law enforcement leadership. Since being appointed Chief of Police for the City of Cleburne in 2012 following a nationwide search, he has led the department with a strong focus on professionalism, innovation, and community-oriented policing.

A graduate of the FBI National Academy, Chief Severance has received numerous certifications, awards, and recognitions throughout his career, including the Texas Police Chiefs Association Innovation Award and being named Johnson County’s “Best City Employee” in both 2024 and 2025.

Throughout National Police Week, we have recognized the men and women who serve our community each day. We are proud to recognize Chief Severance for his leadership, service, and continued commitment to the City of Cleburne.
