Our hearts are broken with the news of Jenna Smallfoot's passing. She has been a big supporter of our Optimist club and has always worked right beside husband and president Justin at our events. Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with Justin and family.

Thanks to Todd Herges from Kearney Little League for being our guest speaker last Wednesday. Little League is definitely alive and well in Kearney, and Kearney Optimist is proud to sponsor a team!

Kearney Optimist Club is proud to announce those youth who placed at the State Tri-Star Football Punt-Pass-Kick contest: Korbin Shirley placed 4th in boys age 8; Liam M8illsap placed 1st boys age 9; Luke McClain placed 5th boys age 10; Collin George placed 4th boys age 11; Landon Bouc came in 4th boys age 12. Jenna George was 5th in girls age 11. 95 contestants from across the state made the trip to Lincoln to compete. These folks were all local winners at 15 different Optimist clubs around the state, including the Kearney Optimist Club. Congrats to all! Hope to see you again next year!
