HelpCare Clinic was established in April, 2015 to meet the proven need for a safety net clinic in Kearney, Nebraska to serve the uninsured in Buffalo and Kearney counties. HelpCare is a registered 501(c)(3), nonprofit free medical clinic where individuals are cared for by paid and unpaid staff concerned about the health and well-being of our community and those that live and work here. Primary, outpatient medical care is provided free of cost to persons who have no insurance and do not qualify for Medicaid or Medicare and have an annual household income level at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. The availability of services at any given time depends on the corresponding availability of medical volunteers, resources, equipment and funding. Services: outpatient primary medical care, preventive medical services, and behavioral health services. Eligibility Guidelines (patients must meet all criteria):
• Resident or employee in Buffalo or Kearney Counties
• No insurance, Medicaid or Medicare coverage
• 200% or under of the Federal Poverty Level

💙 Honoring the Memory of Nancy Blume, RN 💙

Earlier this year, Nancy was called home. We want to honor her memory and the compassion she shared with everyone she cared for.

Nancy volunteered with HelpCare Clinic from the day we opened, giving her time, nursing skills, and kindness to our patients. She continued volunteering during COVID, helping us care for our community through a challenging time.

Memorial donations given in Nancy’s honor will allow us to continue purchasing blood pressure cuffs for patients to take home, helping them monitor their blood pressure and care for their health.

Thank you to Nancy’s family and everyone who has contributed in her memory. Her legacy of compassion will continue to touch the lives of our patients. 💙
