HelpCare Clinic was established in April, 2015 to meet the proven need for a safety net clinic in Kearney, Nebraska to serve the uninsured in Buffalo and Kearney counties. HelpCare is a registered 501(c)(3), nonprofit free medical clinic where individuals are cared for by paid and unpaid staff concerned about the health and well-being of our community and those that live and work here. Primary, ou

tpatient medical care is provided free of cost to persons who have no insurance and do not qualify for Medicaid or Medicare and have an annual household income level at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. The availability of services at any given time depends on the corresponding availability of medical volunteers, resources, equipment and funding. Services: outpatient primary medical care, preventive medical services, and behavioral health services. Eligibility Guidelines (patients must meet all criteria):
• Resident or employee in Buffalo or Kearney Counties
• No insurance, Medicaid or Medicare coverage
• 200% or under of the Federal Poverty Level

Today, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible people who make HelpCare Clinic possible.

Thank you to our dedicated volunteer providers and volunteer nurses for generously sharing your time, expertise, and compassion to care for our community.

Thank you to our amazing staff members, whose hard work and commitment keep our clinic running smoothly every day.

We are excited to officially welcome Jen Murray, APRN, to our provider team at HelpCare Clinic!

Jen has been part of the HelpCare family since 2018, serving our mission through volunteering and supporting the clinic in various capacities over the years. Her dedication to caring for our community and improving access to healthcare has made a lasting impact on countless patients.

Jen is especially passionate about mental health care, helping patients navigate life's challenges with compassion and understanding. In addition to mental health services, she provides primary care for patients of all ages, delivering the personalized, high-quality care our community deserves.

For the past decade, Julie has provided compassionate, high-quality care to countless patients in our community. Her kindness, clinical expertise, and commitment to serving those in need have made a lasting impact on the lives of so many individuals and families. Julie’s dedication to our mission and her genuine care for every patient have been an invaluable part of HelpCare Clinic.
