Community Barn Quilt Art Project Reminder!

A friendly reminder to all participants that completed barn quilt tiles are due back to the museum by June 26, 2026.

Tiles are still available for any Buffalo County resident who would like to participate.

Thank you for helping create this one-of-a-kind community art project! We can't wait to see your finished designs and bring all 250 tiles together for the final display.

It's 4:44 and today we say farewell to our beloved curator, Dr. Lina Cordia, as she begins an exciting new chapter in Fresno, California.

Over the past two years, Lina's passion for history, dedication to preservation, and commitment to sharing Buffalo County's stories have left a lasting mark on BCHS and the community. Her expertise, creativity, and friendship will be greatly missed by staff, volunteers, members, and visitors alike.

While we are sad to see her go, we are incredibly grateful for all she has contributed and wish her every success and happiness in her new role.

Thank you, Lina, for everything. Once a part of the Trails & Rails family, always a part of the Trails & Rails family. ❤️
