Kearney Tackles Cancer is an organization that was started when North Platte had a Pink Out night and a couple people here in Kearney thought- hey--- we can out do that!!! So... it started! Mary Kay Redman and Dana Welsh, along with a great crew of Kearney High girls began their mission of raising money for those struggling financially to fight this horrible disease. Students from KHS, KCHS and st

aff from CHI Health Good Samaritan Cancer Center have worked hard to keep KTC going since it started. Since it’s inception in 2009, Kearney Tackles Cancer has raised nearly $500,000 for patients and their families. It is through annual T-shirts sales, various fundraisers, memorial donations and the generosity of businesses and individuals that we have been able to help hundreds of families.

Shoutout to KCHS Girl's Tennis Team. They had a fundraiser during their season this Spring and raised over $300 to donate to Kearney Tackles Cancer. Thanks girls for supporting KTC!!! 🌟💚🌟🎾
