Thank you to everyone who has supported our shelter campaign and helped make this possible. Your generosity is creating a safe place for survivors and a stronger community for all of us.

We're excited to share that we'll be welcoming survivors soon.

Healing is not linear.

There may be good days, difficult days, steps forward, and setbacks along the way.

All of it can be part of healing.

During PTSD Awareness Month, we recognize the strength it takes to keep going, even when the path isn't straightforward.

If you need support, we're here.

Not every story is yours to understand. Not every experience will mirror your own. But every person deserves to be treated with dignity. This Pride Month, choose curiosity over assumptions, kindness over judgment, and respect over division.

At the end of the day, it's about people.

At The S.A.F.E. Center, we are here for anyone impacted by domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking. Our services are free, confidential, and available to all.

June is Pride Month. 🌈

At The S.A.F.E. Center, we know that abuse, violence, harassment, and trauma do not look one specific way and they do not impact one specific kind of person.

LGBTQ+ individuals experience domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and relationship violence at high rates, while often facing additional barriers to support, safety, and being believed.

Every person deserves to be treated with dignity. Every person deserves support that is compassionate, trauma-informed, and free from judgment.

We believe people should be safe to exist fully as themselves.

This month and every month, we remain committed to creating spaces where people are seen, respected, supported, and safe.

If you need support, The S.A.F.E. Center is here.

Being human can be a lot sometimes.

People are carrying grief, stress, burnout, fear, uncertainty, loneliness, financial pressure, invisible health struggles, relationship struggles, trauma, exhaustion and expectations that no one else can see.

As we close out mental health awareness month, maybe the reminder is simply this:

Let people be human.

Including yourself.

Give grace more freely. Lead with softness when you can. Remember that we rarely know the full story of what someone else is walking through.

Humanity is messy, complicated and so beautiful.

People deserve compassion always.

If you need support, The S.A.F.E. Center is here.

Not all warning signs come with dramatic music. Some show up as controlling behavior, guilt trips, pressure, or disrespect for boundaries.

Healthy relationships should make you feel respected, not afraid to be yourself.

What do you need to give yourself permission to do—or not do—today?

Maybe it’s saying no to something you don't have the capacity for.
Maybe it’s choosing rest over hustle.
Maybe it’s being a little kinder to yourself.

Permission granted.

Take care of you. 💚
