Kearney Works, Kearney Visitors Bureau, Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce and Buffalo County Economic Development are hosting a job fair on Saturday, June 12 from 9a-1p in the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce parking lot (1007 2nd Avenue).

We have many businesses being represented and encourage everyone that is looking for a job to attend! Some employers will hire on the spot!

Food pick-up will be at the Younes Conference Center Kearney NE this Thursday, February 11. If you know someone who is in need of food but can't come get a box, come grab one and take it to them! We know many people will be unable to get out because of the cold/snowy weather.

HAVE YOU HEARD?!

We just got a call from the North Pole and Santa is coming to town! Santa will catch a ride on the back of a fire truck this week for a tour around town in a COVID-19-safe way to spread some cheer.

Santa is scheduled to arrive from the North Pole on Monday at 4:00 p.m., and will trade his sleigh and reindeer for a big red fire truck bringing holiday cheer to the boys and girls of Kearney.

He will be driving around in the following areas and neighborhoods on the following days:

Monday, December 7: Pioneer Park, Harmon Park and Fountain Hills Parks

Tuesday, December 8: Centennial Park, Yanney Park

Friday, December 11: Nina Hammer Park, Collins Park
