We have to admit... ๐Ÿ˜… our microphone isn't exactly award-show quality *yet*. We're still figuring out the music and sound system "sytem" ๐Ÿ˜‚. But while the production crew works out the kinks, our feathered performers are already bringing the energy, the drama, the dance moves, and of course... the volume! ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ”Š

We're not entirely sure what these THREE are up to behind the ficus leaves, but one thing is certainโ€”they may be the cutest little trio you'll see today! ๐Ÿฆœ๐Ÿฆœ๐Ÿฆœ Tucked together on their favorite perch, peeking out from behind the greenery, they look like they're sharing secrets, planning mischief, or simply enjoying each other's company. ๐Ÿ˜

๐ŸŽค๐Ÿฆœ **Huli vs. The Microphone** ๐Ÿฆœ๐ŸŽค

When a microphone was suddenly shoved in Huli's face, he immediately assumed it was a cracker. Fair enoughโ€”most exciting things in life are snacks! ๐Ÿ˜†

After realizing he couldn't eat it, Huli gave us his best "you've wasted my time" look and strutted away. But then... something interesting happened.

๐ŸŽ™๏ธ *Listen carefully...*

The microphone accidentally switched to echo mode, and suddenly Huli heard a mysterious new sound. His curiosity kicked into overdrive, and he turned right around for a closer inspection. What wasn't food became a fascinating puzzle!

As the saying goes, **"Curiosity is the wick in the candle of learning."** ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿง

Ready to spend time with some of the most colorful residents in Hawaiสปi? ๐Ÿฆœ
Volunteering at Parrots in Paradise Sanctuary is hands-on, meaningful, and a whole lot of fun. Youโ€™ll be part of a caring team helping over 150 exotic parrotsโ€”from tiny parakeets to majestic macawsโ€”who now live happy, healthy lives in beautiful outdoor aviaries and alongside goats, sheep, a few peacocks, chickens, and tortoises. ๐Ÿ˜

No experience neededโ€”weโ€™ll train you. Just bring a kind heart and a willingness to help ๐Ÿ’š

As a volunteer, you might:
Help keep the sanctuary clean and organized
Tidy aviary areas and outdoor spaces
Wash towels and maintain shared areas
Rake leaves, pick mac nuts, or assist with general upkeep
Safety is always a priority:
To keep you and our feathered friends safe, please wear closed-toe shoes at all timesโ€”sneakers, hiking shoes, or boots are preferred. You will always work alongside a staff member, and itโ€™s important to remember that parrots may bite to protect their territory, so keep your fingers well away no matter how friendly they seem. Before volunteering, consult your doctor about any precautions you may need to take, and always use good common sense while on site.Closed-toe shoes required, staff will guide you, and (very important!) fingers stay clear of curious beaks ๐Ÿ˜‰

The Blue-and-Gold Macaw is what happens when Mother Nature decides subtlety is overrated.

Blue.
Gold.
Loud.
Confident.

This bird enters every room like it owns the deed.

Little-known fact: Their beaks are powerful enough to crack nuts that would send most kitchen appliances into therapy.

And yes...they know exactly how beautiful they are. Macaws don't walk into a room. They make an entrance.

Green-winged Macaws wake up every morning looking like they spent three hours getting ready. They didn't. Nature simply showed off. These magnificent parrots can fly miles across rainforest canopies while looking better than most people do in their wedding photos.

Little-known fact: Green-winged Macaws often mate for life and can remain bonded for decades.

Meanwhile, some humans can't commit to a Netflix series.

These birds are intelligent, powerful, and capable of opening locks, solving puzzles, and occasionally outsmarting their owners.

The Moluccan Cockatoo is often described as "sweet." This is technically true. So is chocolate cake.

But neither should be left unattended. These birds can live 60+ years, scream louder than a rock concert, and possess emotional needs that rival an entire middle school.

Little-known fact: A bored cockatoo can redecorate your home in under 20 minutes using only its beak and pure determination.

Cabinets?
Gone.

Window trim?
Gone.

Your sanity?
Questionable.

Yet somehow they're impossible not to love.

After clearing the surrounding acreage at the sanctuary, Jerry transformed what could have been brush and fallen timber into something truly special. ๐ŸŒณโžก๏ธ๐Ÿชต

Using the very trees that once stood on the property, he crafted this one-of-a-kind wall โ€” complete with rustic charm, carved details, and plenty of Jerry ingenuity. ๐Ÿ”จโœจ
It's part artwork, part conversation piece... and 100% Jerry. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Just another example of how creativity, hard work, and a little island resourcefulness can turn something ordinary into something unforgettable. โค๏ธ๐Ÿฆœ

The Indian Ringneck Parakeet has two hobbies:

1๏ธโƒฃ Looking fabulous.
2๏ธโƒฃ Judging your life choices.

These birds can learn hundreds of words and phrases, which sounds adorable until they begin repeating things you'd rather not hear in front of company.

Little-known fact: Ringnecks are so intelligent that many owners report being out-negotiated by a bird that weighs less than a loaf of bread.

Expect sass.
Expect opinions.
Expect a bird that somehow becomes the manager of your household.

๐Ÿฆœ Fun Fact: Wild Ringnecks can be found flying across Africa, India, and even major European cities where they have formed thriving populations.
