Kaysville Indispensable Youth (KIY)

Kaysville Indispensable Youth (KIY) For the youth of Kaysville, ages 12 - 19. Serving and helping Kaysville City in events and disasters. On the ODD NUMBERED months, we do service projects.

Provides the youth of Kaysville valuable training, skills, and experience in city operations, record taking and recording, data entry, communication, fundamental emergency preparedness and procedures, basic first aid, civic service, and exposure to a multitude of lifelong careers. We meet each month on the third Thursday of EVEN NUMBERED months at the Kaysville Recreation Center (corner of 1st North and 1st East) in the upstairs room at 7:00 pm.

It is a service month instead of a meeting month. We already cleaned the highway, so we will just see you in October for our regularly scheduled meeting!

A reminder for our KIYouth -- we're cleaning our highway tomorrow morning, Saturday, August 31 at 7:30 am. Meet at Cherry Hill in the parking lot near the batting cages. Bring a friend! The more the merrier!

Kaysville City has asked for our help in the after-the-Fourth cleanup. We will be meeting at the softball field by the retention basin (a.k.a. Lake Fiesta) at Davis High at 7am, Friday, July 5th. Bring friends, family, and/or strangers. :)

Hey, KIY kids -- we'll be doing service tonight instead of our meeting. Come across the street to Kaysville Elementary to help in their Art and Music Fair. Julie will be in the library (come see me so I can fill out a card for you) or keep an eye out for Lizzie, who can help you find a place where your help will be VERY appreciated! We'll be there during our normal meeting hour, 7:00 - 8:00. If you want to help more, the fair starts at 6:30 and goes to 8:30. Thanks!
