🚩 People often wonder why advocates and incarcerated individuals file so many complaints, assuming they are baseless.........

But as this text exchange shows, complaints often have a very real root cause: staff corruption and neglect.

Here, an individual spent their time incarcerated at the Ferguson Unit unable to get basic maintenance fixed—only to later find out that the unit's maintenance supervisor was arrested & jailed on bribery charges.

When staff are engaged in illegal activities instead of performing their core job duties, the safety and security of the entire environment are compromised.

Accountability shouldn't expire just because someone leaves the gates.

Texas Prison Reform LLC. Is committed to not only highlighting the issues but proposing solutions. We are also committed to continuing to share our team members truth even after they are released.
