🔍 CURIOUS KAUFMAN

You Asked: What’s going in at Kings Fort Parkway and Meara Drive near the Lowe's?

🚧 We have the answer—and it’s an exciting addition to Kaufman!

🏨 A brand-new Hampton Inn is officially underway!

Owned by Mya Hospitality Group, the new four-story, approximately 50,000-square-foot hotel will feature 88 guest rooms and will be the only Hampton Inn in Kaufman County.

Construction is underway, with plans for the hotel to open in mid-2028.

We’re excited to see this investment in our community and another great lodging option coming to Kaufman for visitors, families, businesses, and events!

🎥 A special thank you to T18 Construction for providing the video and giving us a look at the progress underway!

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday Americans who answered the call.

May we never forget the lives forever changed, the sacrifices made, and the strength and unity shown in the days that followed.

🇺🇸 We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
