I know because I lived it💜 I became a mom at 19 and on August 23rd my oldest turns 30. Was it easy? NO! Did I want to give up? SOMETIMES! Was it worth every obstacle? ABSOLUTELY! I kept going and you can too!

Back-to-school season brings back some great memories. 💜

Over the years, our Back-to-School Drive has given Single Mommies Can the opportunity to support single parents as they prepared their children for a new school year.

We’re not hosting a drive this year, but we’re grateful for every family we’ve served and every person who helped make those moments possible.

We’re rebuilding and looking forward to what’s ahead.

💜One Mom at a Time

Over the past year, Single Mommies Can has been quiet.

Life brought some unexpected turns, and I needed time to grieve, heal, and simply breathe. Although we haven’t been hosting large events, the mission never stopped.

The calls still come.

The text messages still come.

Young moms still need diapers, wipes, encouragement, resources, and someone to remind them that their story isn’t over.

Behind the scenes, we’ve continued serving one mom at a time.

Today, I’m inviting you to become part of that mission.

It costs $226 each month to keep Single Mommies Can operating through our mailbox, storage unit, website, and Zoom account. These are the basic tools that allow us to remain available when a young mom reaches out for help.

As we look toward the future, my hope is that Single Mommies Can continues to serve young mothers for many years to come. To do that, it will take a community of people who believe in this mission and are willing to help carry it forward.

The answer was we can help! It’s not extravagant, prepped, or staged content. The situation around this care package wasn’t either. Mommy had nothing and no one knew she was pregnant until she delivered, yesterday! No paperwork completed and she doesn’t meet the requirements but she and baby have what they need. Sometimes, you go outside the norm to make sure they know someone cares!

We love receiving gratitude texts. They remind us of the “why” and the “for”. The smile on the face of our mommies and their babies is priceless! How handsome is he!!! We take it “one mom at a time”.

Holiday Gift Drive 6 went like this! Thank you to our donors, sponsors, and Spark Good local grant from our local Walmart Store Number 7357 and Store Number 3226 for your generous grants. we were able to give each mommy and her baby a wonderful holiday! Thank you to WHY number 1 of for helping with the deliveries!
