April 2026 Ghana Outreach 🇬🇭

This mission brings together a team of volunteers from around the world, united to provide compassionate, accessible care and meaningful support to underserved communities. Throughout this outreach, we will be hosting medical clinics, offering screenings and treatment, distributing essential supplies, and providing hands-on health education rooted in prevention and long-term wellness.

Our work is guided by three key pillars:
1. CARE Initiative—focused on Clinical Access, Aid, Relief, and Empowerment through direct patient care

2.CAP Project—driving Climate and Creative Action for the Planet through sustainable practices and community engagement

3. SHE Blooms—advancing menstrual health and cervical cancer awareness for women, girls and boys.

At the heart of this outreach is our mission to deliver primary, preventative care through a sustainable and holistic approach. Integrating health, wellness, and education to empower individuals and communities far beyond the duration of this trip.

Follow along to see the impact of this outreach unfold. If you feel called to be part of this mission, there are many ways to get involved— volunteer, donate, and support the work as we continue to expand our reach and impact

Grateful for the partnerships

🎗️Cervical Cancer Awareness Month

At Heart of Care Providers through our SHE Blooms outreach, we had the privilege of engaging 250+ girls and boys at a secondary school in Lifecamp, Abuja — bringing knowledge that can save lives.

Cervical cancer is preventable, yet it remains one of the leading causes of cancer deaths among women in Nigeria. The good news? A powerful tool exists — the HPV vaccine.

Here’s what every family should know:
💉Girls ages 9–14 can be vaccinated to protect against the strains of HPV that cause ~70% of cervical cancers.
💉Boys ages 9–14 can also benefit — the HPV vaccine helps prevent a**l, throat, and pe**le cancers linked to the virus.
💉The HPV vaccine reduces the risk of cervical cancer by up to 90% when given before exposure.
💉In Nigeria, the vaccine is available at no cost in most government clinics, yet uptake still lags because many families haven’t had the information they need to act.

Coverage is still far from where it needs to be to protect every eligible child and end needless suffering.

Awareness is only the first step. Action makes the difference.
➡️ Get your child vaccinated.
➡️ Share what you learn with others.
➡️ Change the narrative around prevention and health.

Because protecting our children today helps them bloom into healthy tomorrows.

🇳🇬On October 11, 2025 our 🌸SHE Blooms project reminded us why this work matters so deeply. We sat with girls and boys and listened to their questions and created a safe space to learn about menstrual hygiene and cervical cancer. Through our reusable pad workshop, we offered not only practical tools, but dignity, confidence, and sustainable solutions they can depend on. Every girl deserves the space to grow—and together, we are helping them grow with confidence, knowledge, strength and pride

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible facilitators .strong , our dedicated team, and every supporter who made this day possible. Your commitment and dedication is helping us lay the foundation for lasting impact.

SHE BLOOMS Oct 11,2025 🌸

What a powerful day of learning, healing, and growth.

Together, we created a safe space where girls and women could learn, share, and find strength in sisterhood. We even included boys and men in this conversation. We broke myths about our bodies, opened up about mental health, and discovered ways to cope during our menstrual cycles with movement, confidence and care.

We also brought awareness to cervical cancer and prevention, empowering every participant to take charge of her health and her future. Then ended the day with a reusable pad workshop where every participant got to learn and make their own and go home with a kit of 5 reusable pads .

Each girl walked away not only with knowledge, but with leadership, courage, and a new skill she can use and share.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible facilitators and panelists .creativecenter , and to the team who made this event possible — your passion, wisdom, and support remind us why these conversations matter so deeply. Together, we are shaping a generation of informed, confident, and empowered young women.

As she grows, her light extends beyond herself — inspiring others to believe they can bloom too.

✨ Final Day of Project CHAMP! ✨
What an incredible week of learning, growth, and impact. We wrapped up the last day of training with a free medical outreach in Gishiri Village, serving children, women, and men with much-needed care and treatments.

Over the past week, we’ve trained and equipped passionate healthcare providers and community changemakers and cultural engagers with tools for holistic, sustainable care

From engaging sessions on mental health, stigma reduction, and culturally responsive care, to hands-on service with patients who needed it most — this project reminded us of the why behind our mission. ❤️

Grateful to every trainer, participant, volunteer, and donor who made this possible. The seeds we’ve planted this week will continue to grow in clinics, communities, and hearts across the region.
